This is a list of items we have found to be useful and will make your day in the woods more enjoyable! Must Have! Warm clothing (it can get cold at night even in summer) Rain gear and/or umbrella Flashlights Insect repellent Clipboard with paper and plenty of pens Nice To Have! Scanner (listen to the Radio Net and know what's going on) Cooler for food and soda CB radio Digital wrist watch Road maps of the area Along with the above, we always have an emergency toolkit in our vehicle, spare oil and water, also a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit and tow strap!
