Welcome to the 2007 edition of the NEW ENGLAND FOREST RALLY. This is the first letter to invite you all to work the NEFR. As usual JB and I are trying to continually improve the experience of coming to NEFR. Please note the date and name change! This move was done to make additional room for the RA event at the X-Games and to better reflect the actual location of the event for the media. I have been working to enhance the administration side to make it run smoother and add additional activities to be even more enjoyable. To accomplish some of the proposed ideas, I need a more firm count of who will be working than in past years. Several items need to be ordered well ahead of time, such as the event shirts [size] and the awards buffet [# attending]. Please humor me, commit at www.maineforestrally.com or send back the sign-up form. That does not mean I will not accept walk-ins. It means I may not have ordered enough of everything to accommodate you. If there is a shortage, I will have to take care of the people who committed first. If you have any preferences as to work assignment or who you would like to work with, let me know by any means – email, snail mail, or fax. If you say nothing, if possible, I will give you the same assignment this year as last. The New England Forest Rally has a “Support Package” available if any of you have business friends that might be interested in sponsoring a part of the event. If interested, contact me and I will send the support package to you or to whomever you request. There are a limited number of past [1997-2, 2003-2, 2004-2, 2005-19, 2006-54] license plates and XL worker polos [10] available for $20.00 prepaid including shipping while supplies last.
