SCCA, New York Region is again proud to host a Rallycross at Apple Hill on a resurfaced and newly expanded track with a length of almost I mile. A Rallycross is similar in concept to an autocross except that it is held on loose surfaces. Driving technique and scoring is identical to "Pro-Rally". The course is distant from obstacles such as trees and rocks and entrants do not need any special or competition licenses. Any vehicle is eligible and there are classes for stock, modified and Rally cars. The only requirements are that you wear a safety -approved helmet (SA-85/MA-85 or better) and that your vehicle is in safe-worthy condition! There are prizes, and points awarded for the new Rallycross championship.
Rallycrossing is a low-cost, low-risk, and fun way to be introduced to the exciting sport of "Pro-Rally"! Events run regardless of weather. Registration and technical inspection begins at 9:00am and race begins at 10:30am.

Fixed Time= Slowest Time + 3 Sec.
The weather was good. The course was a little twisty and dusty. It's
a good thing the wind was blowing in the right direction. Everyone said
they had lots of fun, even those who got a little sunburned. There were
29 cars and drivers with various driving experiences. The overall
winner, Bruce Perry, was a driver with auto cross experience, driving
his Eagle Talon. He proved that he could slide on grass and dirt as
well as on pavement.
The next Apple Hill Rallycross will be on Sunday, July 12th in
