2000 saw the debut of a new car for the Rev2/Tune Tech Rally Team - a Ford Mustang which could possibly be the most powerful rally car in ProRally competition.
The Mustang features:
* 351 block, bored & stroked to 386 cubic inches
* 11.0:1 compression ratio
* CNC ported aluminum cylinder heads with 2.05" intake valves
* High lift, flat tappet camshaft; high-rise single plane intake manifold
* 830 CFM, 4 barrel carburetor
* 5-speed manual transmission, 4.10 final drive ratio
* Custom built suspension links with revised geometry
* Large, 4 wheel vented disc brakes
"While it may be the most powerful rally car around," commented Hurst, "it is also one of the most challenging to drive."
