Waterloo, Ontario -- The Yokohama tire equipped Two AM Rallysport team returned from Buckingham Quebec this weekend having taken their second victory in a row in the highly competitive Yokohama/Subaru Winter Rally Series. The Rally Des Neige saw 62 teams take the start and head into the back roads north of Buckingham Quebec for the over night event. After 9 hours of competition on the snow covered roads of north western Quebec the team arrived at the finish with only 24 seconds in penalties almost a full minute clear of the second place finishers.

Navigator and defending series champ Ian MacArthur was pleased, "It's one of the largest margins of victory in quite some time. This series has gotten very tight in the past couple of years it's nice to come out on top like this". In addition this marks the sixth win in a row for Ian.

For driver Andrew Miller it has been a great start to a season in a series he hasn't competed in for 2 years. "It's a great way to come back to the series. I've been concentrating on Performance Rally for the last two years and I'd almost forgotten how much fun the winter series is, and how competitive". Two wins in a row puts the team out front in the series standings with 44 points, 15 points ahead of the second place Subaru of Jud Buchanan and John Bellefleur.

The rally proved to be a showcase for winter tires with cold crunchy snow over a layer of ice and even some fresh snow in the middle of the rally. Andrew had this to say "We ran over some of the roads more than once, so the conditions changed very dramatically between runs, but our Yokohama's did the trick."

For the next event, The Snowy Safari Rally Feb. 9th, Andrew will be joined by a reporter from "Performance Racing News" one of Canada's premier motorsports magazines. Look for a feature article on the event in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
