Our event will be held in the picturesque Charlevoix country side. Our headquarters are in the city of La Malbaie-Pointe-au-Pic, which is situated just an hour and a half from Quebec city. We have all the facilities you need for a great rally weekend.
The rally will begin or Friday, November 5, 1999 with registration and technical inspection. The first stages of the rally will take place that evening. Saturday will be a long and challenging day with a 9 AM start and a ll PM finish. The presentation of awards and the closing banquet are scheduLd for Sunday morning.
For the past ten years, entries have varied from thirty to forty competitors. We are recognized at both a national and a North American level as one of the premiere events -a must for all ralliests at some point in their careers. Why not make it this year?
We have different, challenging stages on both gravel and asphalt. The design of the course changes every year and the transits to most of the different stages of the course are very short, the longest transits being approximately 35 miles.
The area has a lot of hotels, motels, inns and good restaurants to accomodate both competitors and spectators. Make your reservations early because Charlevoix is a very busy area on this special weekend.
Last year we had ten thousand dollars in prize money and, for 1999, we're hoping for twenty thousand.
For the past eleven years, our headquarters were located at the prestigious Le Manoir Richelieu over looking the beautiful Saint-Lawrence River and right next door to the Casino de Charleviox. They are spending over $100 000 000 on the Manoir and, if the Manoir was a world class hotel before, wait until you see it when they finish.
For real competition and great times, come to Charlevoix next fall.
