Event:
Press Conference & Media Event for the 2003 Pacific Forest Rally.

When & where:
Wednesday June 11th, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Shark Club, 180 West Georgia St, Vancouver, BC.

Format:
Planned as a typical press conference with a high energy theme and an introduction to rallying, this event will be hosted in a relaxed atmosphere equipped with all the required amenities (A/V, hospitality, etc). Organizers, competitors and teams will be on hand to answer questions and conduct interviews. Both wide open and private spaces will be available for public speaking or interviews as needed. Street level outdoor spaces will feature eye-catching visuals.

This event will be held at the Shark Club, which is in a very central, downtown location. It is located one block from the CBC Vancouver studios, eight blocks from the Pacific Press offices (Vancouver Sun & Vancouver Province), and within a ten minute drive from most other print, TV and radio studios in and around the downtown or False Creek Area. The Shark Club is in a very high visibility location, located right on a major street and across from the GM Place stadium. A select number of rally cars and service trucks will be parked outside during this event.

After brief opening remarks, there will be an informal question and answer period. We will allow for a scrum if one develops, but it will be moderated to allow sufficient time for one-on-one interviews, etc.
