- MPL will revert to zero at the end of Friday night; a new 30 minutes will apply to the entire day Saturday.
- For speed factor 84+ drivers, bona fide TV-PR personnel working on TV equipment in competitors’ cars are not counted toward the three mechanics working on the car.
- At dead end stages, competitors may work on their cars once they have cleared the end-of-control area, providing they do not impede stage operations. If you are unsure, ask the Control Captain BEFORE you start working on your car.
- Due to the small number of competitors entered, Saturday’s Remote Service vehicle restrictions are revised as follows:
One service vehicle – of any size - per competition car will be allowed into the DOT Lot Service (S-2).
- Chicanes will be used – 3 on South Arm and 1 on Dillon-Success. Competitors must follow the purposed correct direction indicated by the drawings located in the front of the Routebook. Failure to do so (i.e., for driving straight thru, making no effort to negotiate, the chicane) will result in a 1 minute penalty per offense. The Marshal at the Chicane will be the judge-of-fact.
