March 2008 It is that time of the year, time to start planning the details of the 2008 New England Forest Rally. Since the first worker’s letter, many people have come forth, volunteering to continue heading up their teams. Others have stepped forward to take on additional responsibilities. JB and I thank you. Without your commitment, we would not have elected to continue. That does not mean we will not welcome additional personnel to lighten the administrative load. [Does anyone want to be Assistant Chairman? A simple job - shadow Ted in 2008, step up to Co-Chairman in 2009 and take the reins of Chairman in 2010.] The 2008 NEFR will have the same general program as 2007:
Included with this letter is the worker sign-up form. Please take the time now to fill it out, even if you must mark it tentative. Please be complete and legible, as it is what I will use to keep you informed as to what is happening. You are encouraged to add comments or suggest other projects you would like to do for the event. The next letter will begin assigning team captains and indicating positions/projects that need to be filled. It will also go into more detail on the various event needs.
