Dear NEDiv ClubRally Competitor:

In the past three weeks Lesley and I have received numerous questions, concerns and complaints about the 2001 NEDiv ClubRally Series. Unfortunately Lesley was called out of the country for work during that time and was unable to respond as she would have liked. She is back home now. Together we have reviewed the series and below is the official Northeast Division ClubRally schedule.

In addition to these events, you will be able to count 4 Out of Division events.

The two Club rallies associated with the Cherokee Trails ProRally were originally scheduled to be a part of this series, but very persuasive arguments were made that there simply was not sufficient lead time for those competitors notified in February to be prepared for these events in March. Two additional Out of Division events (included in the 4) were added in their place.

The NEDiv ClubRally Series is both blessed and cursed with a large competitor population and a relatively few number of events. These measures are merely stop-gap until we can organize additional events. This is a cooperative "we". The Performance Rally Board and the ClubRally Stewards are totally committed to building our ClubRally programs with more quality events. We will work as mentors and liaisons with potential organizers to develop sites and events. The initiative is yours!
