NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- The New York Region of the S.C.C.A. is pleased to announce that we are adding a NEW venue to our rally calendar for Y 2000!

On June 24th 2000, a Coefficient II Club Rally will take place in the 'Catskill' region of New York state (approx. 150 miles north of NYC). This event known as "Irish Hills ClubRally" will count towards the Northeast Division ClubRally Championship.

Selected gravel roads around the town of Andes in Delaware County have been approved for closure during this 'Performance Rally'. Total mileage will be approximately 160 miles comprising 42 miles of special stages. All roads are well groomed, hard-packed gravel, twisty and very challenging. Conditions and terrain are very similar to the Pennsylvania forest type of roads as experienced at the Susquehannock Trail and Ski Sawmill rallies.

With the current demand and boom in performance rallying, this is a great opportunity for all rallyists to get more mileage during a season of overswelling of entries at other events!

We hope to make this event a success for rallyists and the local communities. This rally is being planned with the assistance of Andy Wos and Eileen Deehan of "RALLYSPORT Inc.", the well-known motorsports video retailers, headquartered in Andes, NY!
