Knoxville, Tennessee -- The 2004 running of the Rally New York will be filmed by Ireland based On the Limit Sports for broadcast later this year on a major cable network.

On the Limit Sports produces a weekly Irish motorsport magazine program which provides exciting action from all the various Irish rally series. The Irish National Rally Championship forms a major part of its coverage.

Rally New York is Round Three of the Eastern States Rally Championship (ESRC), taking place on April 17, 2004. It is headquartered in Monticello, New York, and will run on the roads of the Catskill Mountains. Included in the event will be two tarmac stages.

"In addition to Rally New York, other selected rounds of the Eastern States Rally Championship will be filmed and broadcast, including Rally West Virginia," stated NASA Rally Sport and Rally Promotions, LLC, principal John K. Shirley. "We are excited about the involvement of On the Limit Sports, as their experienced camera crews and editors are well versed in rally sport, and provide a product that is second to none."

"I wish we could disclose the name of the network, but we have to withhold that pending finalization of our contract with them, " stated Dr. Kendall Russell, ESRC Series Coordinator. "However, we wanted to get this information out before Rally New York for the competitors." Dr. Russell continued, "This television package will prove invaluable to our event competitors, as well as to the Championship, as it provides an avenue for the marketing of both the teams and the series, which is a win-win for all involved."
