Forestburgh, New York -- Today at the Eastern States Rally Championship "Rally New York," D&S Communications (www.dscomm.com) and the Leukemia Research Foundation (www.leukemia-research.org) announced that they are joining hands to sponsor the Eastern States Rally Championship in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.
"Rally racing is an exciting sport filled with great competitors and fans, and I'm confident that the rally community will reach out to the Leukemia Research Foundation with open arms," says D&S Communications founder Scott Gardner. Gardner is a competitor in the ESRC in the D&S Communications Audi S2 Quattro. Gardner's interest in the Leukemia Research Foundation began when his son Scotty was diagnosed with Acute Limpoblastic Leukemia a year ago. For the last twelve months, Scotty has been successfully battling the deadly disease.

The Leukemia Research Foundation, founded in 1946 and guided by a distinguished Medical Advisory Board, supports research and outreach throughout the United States. The Leukemia Research Foundation goal is to conquer leukemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes by funding research into their cures, and to enrich the quality of life of those touched by these diseases. Eighty-five percent of all annual revenue is directly applied to research and outreach, allowing for significant funding of eager and talented physicians and scientists around the world, patient and family financial assistance and emotional and educational support programs.
