last year's Rally New York events, the organizers are pleased to
announce two new events, Rally New York and International Rally New York,
as well as the continuation of the Rally New York Rallycross Series.
All of these will be held in Sullivan County, approximately 90
miles northwest of New York City.

Rally New York, April 15 - 16, 2005

Rally New York, with competition on Saturday, April 16, will be the
third round of the 2005 Eastern States Rally Championship, sanctioned
by the National Auto Sport Association (NASA). The best drivers from
the eastern part of the United States will participate. The rally
course will be 240 miles long, with 63 miles of special stages (speed
tests against the clock). The special stages will be a mix of gravel
and tarmac roads located entirely within the borders of the Town of
Tusten in the western part of Sullivan County. These special stages
will be connected by sections of public roads, on which competitors
must observe all traffic laws and legal speed limits.

Each race team consists of two persons, a driver and a co-driver
(navigator). The teams also have service crews to perform repairs or
routine service during the rally. The cars are generally compact sedans
such as Subaru Imprezas, Mitsubishi Lancers, Dodge Neons.

Technical inspection of competition vehicles will be conducted at Mr. Willy's
restaurant in Monticello all day on Friday, April 15.

The start of the rally on Saturday, April 16 will be at the Government
Center in Monticello. The racecars will be on display starting 7:00 am,
the first car off at 8:00 am. The first car will finish the rally just
after 6:00 pm.

The servicing of the racecars will take place at the Lender's
Campground in Narrowsburg all day on Saturday.

Spectators are welcome on Saturday at the spectator areas located at
the Mahls Pond Road and at the Blind Pond Road in Tusten, at the start
and finish in Monticello and at the service area in Narrowsburgh.
On Friday, spectators may view the racecars during the technical
inspection in Monticello.

International Rally New York, September 29 - October 1, 2005

The spring event will be followed by a larger event in September.
The September event has achieved an international status. It will be
the third round of the 2005 United States Rally Championship. The best
drivers from the United States and from other countries will compete
in the International Rally New York. The event is listed
internationally by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)
and it is sanctioned jointly by the United States Auto Club (USAC) and
the National Auto Sport Association (NASA).

surface, marked with plastic cones. These competitions are open to all
licensed drivers.

All drivers must wear a helmet. Loaner helmets will be available.
