- Schedule
- Friday, November 5:
- Registration: 8 am-9 p.m., Mr. Willy's Restaurant
- Technical inspection: 12 n.-9 p.m., (place to be announced)
Saturday, November 6:
- Cars displayed 7:30-8 a.m., Government Center, Monticello
- First car starts: 8:01 a.m., Government Center
- Service: from 8:48 a.m., Lander's Campground
- First car finishes: approx. 6 p.m., Government Center
- Format
- 240 miles total; 12 "special stages" (races against the clock on closed roads),
totaling 65 mi.; connected by "transit zones" (public road sections)
-- all competitors must obey state laws on transit zones
- Cars
- Compact sedans and sports cars (ex.- Dodge Neon, Eagle Talon,
Mitsubishi Lancer, Subaru Impreza)
- Spectating
- Spectator points will be set up on special stages in the town of Tusten,
(Narrowsburg). For details see the web site, www.RallyNewYork.com.
Spectators may watch, and talk to, rallyists at the start, service and finish.
