When Saturday, November 6, 2004 Where Sullivan County, New York; (approximately 90 miles from New York City) Headquarters Mr. Willy's Restaurant, Route 42, Monticello (Fri., Nov. 5, 8 am-10 pm); Lander's Campground, Narrowsburg, N.Y. (Sat., Nov. 6, 8 am-6 pm) Schedule Friday, November 5: Registration: 8 am-9 pm, Mr. Willy's Restaurant Technical inspection: 2:30-9 p.m., (place to be announced) Saturday, November 6: Cars displayed 7:30-8 am, Government Center, Monticello First car starts: 8:01 am, Government Center First car at service: 9 am, Lander's Campground, Narrowsburg First car finishes: approx. 6 p.m., Government Center Format 240 miles total; 12 "special stages" (races against the clock on closed roads), totaling 65 mi. (52 mi. dirt/gravel, 13 mi. paved); connected by "transit zones" (public road sections) -- all competitors must obey state laws on transit zones Cars Compact sedans and sports cars (ex.- Dodge Neon, Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Lancer, Subaru Impreza) Spectating Spectator points will be set up on special stages in the town of Tusten, (Narrowsburg).
