| Reconnaissance in competition cars with start numbers removed or neatly masked is authorized. Roads are open to regular traffic — drive with caution. For this reason, chicanes will not be in place during reconnaissance.

| To return to start, after finish, follow Road Book for 5.43 miles to Instruction 10 and turn right on Meenahga Road.
After South Gulley, follow Road Book to Instruction 13 where you turn right on Route 52. Go another 0.60 mile and turn left onto Wintish Road (Sgt. Eddie Ryan stage). | |||||

| Follow Road Book, TC 1A through TC 3.
From STOP control after Old Greenfield, follow Road Book for 2.12 miles to Instruction 5 - stay on Route 52 East - which is 0.08 mile past Wintish Road on right (the start of Sgt. Eddie Ryan stage). From this point, follow Road Book from Instruction 6 between TC 8 and TC 9 to TC 9 - Tempaloni. | |||||

| To return to start, turn left on Cranberry Road and go for 2.13 miles (follow Road Book between TC 11 and TC 11A), turn left onto Spring Glen Road (Route 55) and continue for approximately 7 miles to Tempaloni on left.
From Tempaloni, follow Road Book to TC 8 - Seigel. | |||||

| To return to start, turn left onto Route 52, go for 1.50 mile to Synagogue Road on left, follow Road Book from Instruction 13 between TC 7 and TC 8 for 3.95 miles.
From Seigel, turn right onto Route 52, go for 2.50 miles, turn left onto Route 42 South and go for another 2.50 miles to a cross road - Route 53. From there, follow Route 42 South according to Road Book from Instruction 13 between TC 11 and TC 11A to Instruction 15 for 5.30 miles, at Instruction 15 go straight through the intersection and after 0.27 mile turn right onto Chalet Road where the start of Concord South is. | |||||

| At the STOP control after Concord South, turn around and continue reconnaissance of Concord North. Reconnaissance in both directions at the same time is authorized on this wide town road.
From the STOP control after Concord North, continue to Instruction 8 where you go straight instead of left. Drive another 0.50 mile and at the traffic light turn right onto Route 42 North. Follow Route 42 North for approximately 17 miles to a T-junction with a blinking light in Grahamsville where you turn left onto Route 55 West. This point is Instruction 6 between TC 15D and TC 16. Follow Road Book to TC 16 - Willowemoc. | |||||

| From the STOP control after Willowemoc, continue for 0.23 mile to Browns Road, turn around and continue reconnaissance of Fir Brook. Reconnaissance in both directions at the same time is authorized on this wide town road.
From the STOP control after Willowemoc, follow Road Book to TC 17 - Woodard. In order to return to the finish of Willowemoc, a fourth pass of Willowemoc is authorized. | |||||

| At the STOP control after Woodard, turn around, go back for 2.59 miles and continue reconnaissance of Blue Hill. Extreme caution must be exercised in narrow parts of this road. The remaining 4.58 miles of Blue Hill / Woodard stage are on a wide town road. Reconnaissance in both directions at the same time is authorized because of the condition of the road after the finish of Blue Hill.
In order to return to Nevele, from the start of Blue Hill stage take Hunter Road in the opposite direction going away from the stage for 0.84 mile. From this point, follow the Road Book from Instruction 3 between TC 21 and TC 21B for 23.11 miles to Nevele. For this purpose, a fourth pass of the first 4.58 miles of Woodard stage is authorized. Please refer to the first four pages of Road Book for directions to Shakedown. | |||||
