Jerry started racing in 1961; he raced stock cars on the ARCA circuit from Daytona to Flat Rock and the mile-dirts in between. Road racing in the 24 hours of Daytona and the 12 hours of Sebring led to open road racing, and now, rally. He competed in the 1999, 2000, and 2001 Mexican Road Race. He is a recent graduate of Tim O'Neil's Rally School. Jerry plans to run Maine and Ojibwe in '02.

His car is a brand new, 2002, viper-red, Group N Subaru built state-of-the-art by Lance Smith and his great staff at Vermont Sports Car.
