Arlington, Texas, USA -- In two days the TPi Rally Team heads out to Paris, Texas to compete in the 2006 Rallye de Paris performance rally. On Friday, November 24, 2006, the TPi Rally Team Open Class rally car along with all the other competing rally cars, other custom cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display at the Paris Ford dealership from 7 to 10pm. The rally racing takes place at the Camp Maxey Texas National Guard Training Center, Powderly, Texas, on Saturday, November 25, 2006 from 11am - 10pm.

The Rallye de Paris is a Rally America regional event consisting of a coefficient 3 rally (Paris by Day Rally) and a coefficient 2 rally (Paris by Night Rally). The event, which is held entirely on the grounds of Camp Maxey, features smooth gravel roads and is generally not a car-breaker, with the exception of the infamous Tank Trap!

TPi Rally Team driver Jowi Odero-Jowi last competed in this event seven years ago. This year the team returns with Kim DeMotte in the navigator's seat. DeMotte is a seasoned rally veteran and brings invaluable knowledge and experience to the team.
