Tempe, Arizona, USA -- David Higgins continued his winning streak at the Ramada Express International Rally in Laughlin, Nevada this weekend. Piloting a 2001 Open Class Subaru WRX built by AV SPORT, he took the win in Open class by a lead of over four minutes despite strong competition from the Mitsubishi’s of Dido and Millen.

Neither snow nor ice could slow Higgins down as he rocketed through the scenic stages of the challenging event. Friday stages through the mountains had up to 12" of snow and tire choice was critical. Additional stages near the Grand Canyon on Saturday brought speeds over 130 mph despite icy conditions.

This marked David Higgins first victory in North America. He recently won Group N at the Rally of Great Britain and appears to be relentless in the pursuit of victory.
