Tempe, ARIZONA -- AV SPORT RALLY TEAM announces that 1999 British group N champion David Higgins, will drive a new 2002 Subaru Impreza on the forthcoming Lake Superior ProRally. The car has been prepared for `open` class competition in the Sports Car Club of America`s final round, based in Houghton, Michigan on October 19th. This is the final event in the ten round season of U.S. rallies and covers over 145 competitive miles.

`David Higgins is one of the fastest young drivers around and we are delighted to have him join our team` said Andy Brown, team manager at AV SPORT.

Higgins tight schedule means that he will be competing in two events in Russia, before traveling to the U.S, as well as driving for VW Motorsport on the British Championship.

AV SPORT will also be running two customer cars in the event. Peter Workum will drive his Open class WRX and New York driver Jason Rivas will chase PGT honours.
