PHOENIX, Arizona, USA -- AV Sport completed an outstanding season this weekend with Mark Nelson and Alex Gelsomino taking the team’s second consecutive victory at the Ramada Express Rally in Laughlin, Nevada.

Nelson was driving an AV Sport Subaru for the first time and drove faultlessly, beating Rhys Millen’s Mitsubishi by three minutes. Tim O’Neil was third overall and first in Group N in his Air Force Reserve, AV Sport prepared car, putting two cars on the podium for the last event of the season.

"Mark drove an excellent rally, considering he was driving a mildly modified Group N car and showed great maturity in adapting to the Subaru," commented team principal Andy Brown.

This win confirms AV Sport as the most successful team in U.S. rallying this year, taking a total of six national victories in twelve months and seven Group N wins.
