Two AM Rallysport
Waterloo, Ontario -- The Yokohama/Subaru Winter Rally series starts January 5th in Lachute Quebec as the Two AM team sets it's sights on the championship with both top-notch tires and a top-notch navigator. The series consists of 5 all night snow covered rallies January 5th through March 2nd and is one of North America's toughest motorsports challenges.
This year the team starts the series with support from Yokohama Tire Canada in the form of their premium ice and snow tire the GUARDEX 720. Pleased to be competing on premium rubber, team owner/driver Andrew Miller had this to say "It's gonna be great! The competition in this series is really tight and we'll take every advantage we can get so the Guardex is definitely the way to go".
Another great advantage for the team will be Four-time series champion navigator Ian MacArthur who joins the team this year for 4 of the five events. These rallies take place over 10 hours and 400km of precision driving and are often won and lost by just seconds, so a top-notch Navigator is essential for keeping the team on route and on time.
For the middle event in the series (Snowy Safari, Feb. 9th) Andrew should be joined by a journalist in the navigators seat. With plans for a feature article in a national motorsports magazine it can only help with exposure for Canada's fastest growing motorsport.
