Buckingham, Quebec -- Two AM Rallysport's Yokohama sponsored VW golf heads to Quebec again this weekend for the second round in the Yokohama/Subaru Winter Rally Series the "Rallye Des Neige".
Fresh off their win in the first event two weeks ago the Driver/co-Driver team of Andrew Miller and Ian MacArthur will be once again competing against a large field. Sixty cars of all types are expected to start the all night winter rally and with between 5 and 15 cm of fresh snow having fallen in the last 48hrs, it'll be a great challenge for all.
Driver Andrew Miller stated "It's really competitive at the front end this year, there are at least 6 or7 teams with the skills and equipment to take the win, so we've got our work cut out for us." That's not to say that the competition isn't hot elsewhere in the pack, with more than 30 teams vying for overall series title in both the Expert and Novice classes.
Ian MacArthur, who will be handling the navigation duties for the weekend had this to say, "This will be our second event together, things can only get better, and since we had such a good result last time I'm really optimistic."
The Rally Des Neige consists of 385 km of challenging winter driving running from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec.
Two AM Rallysport competes in the expert class with help from its sponsors Yokohama Tire, Volkswagen Waterloo, Dave's Tire Discounter, Frisco Auto Parts and AM Innovations Inc.
