Waterloo, Ontario -- The Two AM Rallysport team will have it's work cut out for it this weekend as they head to the "Rallye Defi Ste-Agathe/Duhamel" in Saint Agathe Quebec. Sixty-three teams have entered and no less then 14 of those are in the same class (Production 3) as current national points leader 's driver Andrew Miller and Co-driver Rebecca Miller.
Rebecca will have to miss out this time around as she has prior commitments but Andrew intends to fight hard to stay ahead in the points. "It's gonna be tough," says Miller, "some of the best production teams in North America are going to be there, but we're 100% set and plan to give them a good fight." A mere 3 points separate Miller and co-second place holders Steve Walkington and Charles Hammer so everyone will be looking to maximize their points.
Rebecca's seat will be taken this time around by co-driver Robin Flegeul. Flegeul stated, "I'm looking forward to it. Andrew and I have rallied together before [last year at back to back rallies in Alberta] and I think we've got a good chance".
It won't be easy though as this is a new rally for both of them and they have been placed at a distant 31st starting point on the road, meaning unfavourable road conditions may play a part. The Two AM team is no stranger to moving up the order though. "There a couple of very long stages on Saturday so I'm expecting we will have to pass a couple of cars. No problem, we've done it before and we always do well on the long stages", says Miller.
The Subaru Canadian Rally Championship, which consists of 9 events, runs from February to November. Two AM Rallysport competes in the P3 class with help from its sponsors Volkswagen Waterloo, Dave's Tire Discounter, Frisco Auto Parts, Vibrant Performance and AM Innovations Inc.
