Olympia, Washington -- Primitive Racing is pleased to announce that Scott Huhn of Seattle, Washington has joined the team as co-driver for a push to win the Open Class Championship of the SCCA ProRally Series and the North American Rally Cup in 2000. Huhn is a veteran co-driver and is eager to help get the team to seven of nine upcoming National events and two Canadian Rally Series events. More on Scott to follow.
The Primitive Racing Impreza USX 2.2 Turbo is being rebuilt with more horsepower and new suspension for the upcoming season. Here are the results from its first season of racing, marking Paul Eklund's return to driving ProRally after winning a co-driver National Championship in 1998:

Paul Eklund also won the Seattle National Tour and the SCCA SOLO II National Championships driving a Toyota Celica in E-Stock class. This marked his second consecutive National Championship in SOLO II. He also was awarded the "Most Inspirational Driver Award" for Oregon Region in 1999 for his efforts in successfully crossing the boundaries between ProRally, SOLO II, ClubRacing and RallyCross.
