Waterloo, Ontario -- Two AM Rallysport are ready to take their 1995 VW Golf to its limit this weekend on the most challenging Rally road Ontario has to offer. The Spring Swift Rapids Rally held in Orillia, Ontario on June 17th in conjunction with Big Brothers uses a road with more twists and turns than any other. The Swift Rapids road has no less than 176 major turns in just over 12 kilometres.

One turn on average every 70 metres means a serious work out for both the car and its driver/co-driver team of Andrew Miller and Martyn Appleford, but after a successful shake down while performing the duties of course opening at the Susquehannock Trail ProRally in Pennsylvania just last week, the team is sure the car is up to it.

Driver/owner Andrew Miller had this to say, "This will be our first major gravel event and we looking forward to it." He adds, "the road has recently been upgraded and provided the weather is good we should have ideal conditions for going real fast."

This Rally is the second event in the Ontario Performance Rally Championship and the Two Am team goes into it looking to improve their 4th place points standing.

In addition to being a excellent rally for drivers, Swift Rapids is a spectators dream since it takes place all on one road and well within an easy drive of most of southern Ontario, and with 176 turns there is no shortage of "Good Seats". The organizers, Maple Leaf Rally Club and the Orillia Big Brothers, encourage all spectators to come out and watch the race. Concessions will be available with all proceeds going to Big Brothers.

The Ontario Performance Rally Championship, which consists of 6 events run from February to November, is about the most challenging racing series in Ontario. Teams compete in timed runs over narrow twisty closed roads at high speeds. Two AM Rallysport competes in the Production Sport class with help from its sponsors AM Innovations Inc., Volkswagen Waterloo, Dave's Tire Discounter, and Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change Center.
