RIDGECREST, CA — The United States Rally Championship announced a change to its calendar for the 2011 season. The previously scheduled tarmac Rally New York USA will now take place on April 1 - 2, 2011, which is two weeks earlier than the previously announced date.

The United States Rally Championship Calendar for the 2011 Season is as follows:

This change helps maintain the time available for competitors between USRC events and will eliminate a conflict with the recently announced date of another event.

The three USRC events on the East Coast are all distinct rallies on different surfaces – snow, tarmac and gravel – and do not duplicate each other.

The United States Rally Championship is open to mutual cooperation with any organizer and any sanctioning body. The Championship has made approaches both for the purposes of including additional events and having events combined with other championships on its calendar. Those who have not been directly contacted and are interested in approaching the United States Rally Championship are welcome to do so at this time.
