UNITED STATES RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP ELECTS OFFICERS
Laughlin, Nevada -- The Board of Directors of the United States Rally Championship, Inc. has elected its Officers and selected the Series Administrator for the 2006 Season.
Michael Taylor of Prescott, Arizona has been elected President of the United States Rally Championship, Inc., Olga Orisek of Forestburgh, New York is Vice President & Treasurer and Donna Hocker of Ridgecrest, California is the United States Rally Championship Series Administrator.
All three experienced candidates have been involved with rallying for at least fifteen years, both as competitors and organizers. The United States Rally Championship is looking forward to a successful 2006 Championship Season under their leadership.
Michael Taylor began rallying with Cable Rhodes and co-drove for Roger Hull, Rob Cherry, Keith Roper and Steve Westwood. Lately, he has been driving with his son Steven as the navigator. He is the recipient of the California Rally Series highest honor, the Kenneth Zimmerman Memorial Award. Michael is the current organizer of Prescott Rally.
Olga Orisek is a former North East Divisional Champion Co-Driver and co-drove for her husband Ivan. She is also a former three-time Czechoslovak Champion in Alpine skiing. Olga serves as Vice President & Treasurer of Rally New York, Ltd., the promoter of Rally New York USA and International Rally New York.
Donna Hocker is a former co-driver for Bobbie Whitman and a former Director of the California Rally Series. She holds a seat on the Board of Governors of the California Rally Series. Donna is Co-Chairman for Subaru Rim of the World Rally and Administrative Director for Laughlin International Rally.
The United States Rally Championship, America’s premier rally championship, consists of Federation Internationale de L’Automobile (FIA) internationally listed events sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC) and presented by the National Auto Sport Association (NASA).
