Hairpin Racing is pleased to annouce a new co-driver for the 1999 Michelin SCCA ProRally season. The search for a co-driver began when Paul Eklund decided to switch seats and become a driver. Eklund will be piloting another Subaru Impreza in the Open class of the same series.

After many applications were reviewed, Claire Maire Chizma of Newhall, CA. was selected to be the new co-driver for Hairpin Racing. Chizma brings with her several years of co-driving experience. She is excited about joining the Hairpin Racing Team as it will be her first National Championship season.

Hairpin Racing plans to start their season with the Doo Wops III & IV events in Shelton, WA. on March 13-14. This year the team plans to compete in five Michelin SCCA ProRally events and two events organized by the Canadian Association of Rallysport.
